During the event, the issue of providing first aid to victims at work was considered.. In recent decades, mechanical injury has become one of the leading problems of modern medicine and ranks third among the causes of mortality., therefore, the issue of qualified employee training at the enterprise today is especially acute. An integrated approach should be used to prevent injuries and their consequences: injury prevention, the moment of injury and assistance to the victim should be considered as a single process, aimed at preserving the life and health of people. Our company demonstrated a wound simulator ZR-21 for practicing first aid skills in production, with the help of which we train employees in a set of first aid measures. The person providing assistance must be able to: • quickly and correctly assess the situation; • assess the condition of the victim; • diagnose the type and recognize the characteristics of the injury; • determine the type and sequence of first aid actions; • correctly carry out the entire complex of emergency resuscitation care, taking into account the condition of the victim; • if necessary, stop bleeding; • perform artificial respiration and closed cardiac massage; • apply a bandage, help with burns, poisoning, frostbite, in case of electric shock, etc.. The degree of personnel training is the most important factor, determining the effectiveness of the first aid system. Training programs must correspond to production conditions, take into account the characteristics of the profession and the risks associated with it.
